Press release from the issuing company

Mortsel, Belgium - 29 October 2001 - Agfa announced that it will renew its contract with HiT Internet Technologies SpA. The Affi, Italy-based software developer partners with Agfa in the manufacture of Agfa's IntelliNet newspaper workflow software. With over 300 IntelliNet systems installed in 36 countries, Agfa projects it will install another 20 by year's end.
