Top Executives Named at New Distribution Giant, Enovation
Press release from the issuing company
PENNSAUKEN, NJ, October 22, 2001 – Enovation Graphic Systems, Inc., newly-formed and America’s largest distributor of equipment, consumables and technical services to the graphic communications industry, announces the appointment of three of the company’s top executives. Daniel C. Maffeo will serve as executive vice president for Enovation, which represents more than 500 suppliers at more than 60 branch locations throughout the country. Robert J. Gourley and Jon D. Wright will both take posts as vice presidents.
Formerly vice president and general manager of the Graphic Systems Division of Fuji Photo Film, U.S.A., Inc., Maffeo is a 30-year veteran of the graphic arts industry whose background includes experience in production, sales, technical and management positions with both dealers and manufacturers.
"We’re proud to have Dan as part of our team," said Jim Mullan, president of Enovation Graphic Systems, Inc. "His thorough knowledge of the industry as well as his understanding of customers’ needs will contribute tremendously to our vision for Enovation."
Enovation Graphic Systems, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Fuji Photo Film U.S.A., Inc., was formed in connection with Fujifilm’s recent acquisition of three leading distributors of the graphic communications industry – PrimeSource Corporation, Heartland Imaging and Graphic Systems, Inc.
Maffeo joined Fujifilm in 1984, filling a variety of sales and sales management positions before being named vice president for all U.S. sales of consumables and equipment and eventually vice president and general manager.
"I am very excited about this new company and am honored to serve in this new position," Maffeo commented. "I’m confident that Enovation will provide the graphic communications industry with superior products and consultative service and support."
Gourley and Wright will join Maffeo at Enovation as vice presidents. Before joining Enovation, Gourley served as CEO of Heartland Imaging, which grew from four distribution locations to 22 locations during his tenure.
Wright began his career in the printing ink business and founded Graphic Systems, Inc. (GSI), one of the largest dealers in the nation, in 1973 and led it through 2001. GSI grew to nine distribution centers throughout the country. His most recent position was as president of GSI.
