The 2002 Digital Smart Factory Conference is the premier forum for exploring the efficiencies possible in automating the print manufacturing process. The first day of the meeting will feature tutorials, particularly appropriate for those just beginning to explore the concept of the Digital Smart Factory. Day two will feature white papers, at which industry experts will discuss the automated production environment in the printing industry. On the final day, case studies will be presented by printers and others who are actually implementing the Digital Smart Factory Concept. According to Ronald L. Mihills, R&E Council Managing Director, "The conference will include ample time for those interested in the Digital Smart Factory concept to network with those already implementing the concept in actual practice."
