Atlanta and Minneapolis – Oct. 22, 2001 – Atlanta-based Datagraphic and Minneapolis-based Four51 announced today that the companies have formalized an alliance designed to help promote eSolutions to their joint customers and prospects. Datagraphic and Four51 have been working together informally for over a year, but are now taking steps to develop specific joint sales and marketing initiatives.
“We’ve been working with Four51 since its inception,” said Dick Wiegand, Vice President of Sales & Marketing for Datagraphic. “Four51’s technology solution and approach to market complement distributors’ businesses very well. Four51 is a welcome addition to our group of technology alliances.”
Both Four51 and Datagraphic have previously announced alliances with other print manufacturers and eSolution providers respectively. The two companies consider these alliances important elements of an overall strategy designed to support the independent channel.
“Datagraphic is clearly one of the leading providers to the independent channel,” said Mark Osborn, Four51’s Vice President of Marketing, “ and we already have a number of customers and prospects in common. Our hope is that we can help our mutual customers and prospects be even more successful by working together.”
Four51 and Datagraphic plan to launch a joint communications campaign to introduce mutual customers and prospects to the newly formed alliance. In addition, the companies are exploring opportunities for technology initiatives, particularly around XML interoperability.
The Datagraphic mission is to be the first choice as a supplier to resellers within their product/service offering. Datagraphic sells to resellers only, and for over 30 years has delivered a high quality product, quickly and at a competitive price. Under the direction of company President John Staniforth, the main focus of Datagraphic is total customer satisfaction. Datagraphic owns, operates and maintains six strategically located business forms manufacturing facilities across the U.S. plus an additional location housing its commercial printing and flexographic labels operations.
