Exstream Software Debuts Dialogue v2.5 at Xplor 2001
Press release from the issuing company
October 11, 2001 – www.exstream.com – Exstream Software plans to introduce the newest version of their award-winning Dialogue software in booth #1578 at this year’s Xplor 2001 October 29 – November 1st in Orlando, Florida. Released on October 1, 2001, significant enhancements to Dialogue include a Regulatory Support module, which allows compliance administrators to manage content inclusion or exclusion based on effective dates and/or jurisdictions (especially important to the insurance industry); a new module to handle dynamic data access and transactional processing in real time, to and from any data source; and a component library that allows users to store commonly used objects so they only have to be changed in one place for automatic update in all applications in which they appear. Dialogue v2.5 also adds the ability to output personalized print markup language (PPML), variable print specification (VPS), and rich text format (RTF) to the already impressive list of print and electronic outputs.
During the show, Exstream will take part in the Xerox "Document Personalization" tour and will showcase printing of VPS color applications in Xerox’s booth. In IBM’s booth, Exstream will be demonstrating the wealth management application utilized by Manulife Financial, created using Dialogue. Partners in Exstream’s booth will include Applied Printing Technologies, a current Dialogue user, and Lasercom, one of Exstream’s European distributors.
Exstream will be an active participant in Xplor conferences and education sessions. They will present a vendor tutorial on Tuesday, October 30 in Room 311C/D and will serve on three panels of Doculabs University. Panel topics will cover "Customer Relationship Management," "Output Management," and "Document Creation" (times to be determined). In addition, four of Exstream’s clients will serve as speakers during conference sessions. Topics for these sessions include: "Personalization: It’s More than a Tactic" (Monday, October 29, Room 310 A/B); "Enhancing Print-Based CRM" (Wednesday, October 31, Room TBD); "CRM Opportunities in Digital-Based Printing" (Wednesday, October 31; Room 315A); and "1:1 Documents" (Thursday, November 1, Room 315B).
