Press release from the issuing company

Global Graphics, a world leader in the design and manufacture of high-performance prepress equipment and software to the graphic arts industry, has appointed Simon Moorhouse as sales and marketing director of its hardware division. With more than 20 years experience of the graphics arts industry, Moorhouse started his career at Horsell Graphic Industries moving up the ranks through various sales and marketing positions. He then became Export Sales Region Head for Kodak Polychrome Graphics, responsible for sales and marketing activity in the Middle East, Africa, India, Eastern Europe and Asia Pacific. Moorhouse was most recently employed as Sales and Marketing Director with a UK manufacturer and worldwide provider of computer integrated manufacturing systems robotics and virtual reality software for education and the vocational training markets. Gary Jones, Global Graphics Hardware's Chief Operating Officer, said, "This is a strategic role that puts the finishing touch to the reorganisation of our sales and support infrastructure. During this year we have gradually built an international, multi-lingual sales team with a vast range of experience in the graphic arts and printing industry. It has taken us a while to identify the right person to head up this team and we are delighted to welcome Simon on board. " Moorhouse comments, "Global Graphics customers are seeing the benefits of the combined strength and expertise of an international organisation with one of the broadest pre-press product ranges for both flexo and litho applications. I am looking forward to expanding the company's penetration of its key markets in the US, Far East and Central Europe." Earlier this year Global Graphics made a trio of senior appointments to its sales team, appointing David Wang as Business Manager for Asia Pacific, Mauricio Contreras as Export Sales Manager focussing on Western Europe, Africa, the Middle East, India and Latin America, and Sami Doumani, as Sales Manager responsible for managing key Hardware OEM accounts.
