Standard Register Names Spiegelberg as VP of Corporate Communications

DAYTON, Ohio---Oct. 10, 2001--Standard Register announces the appointment of Laurie Spiegelberg as a corporate officer and vice president of corporate communications.
Spiegelberg is responsible for employee communications, public relations, investor relations, corporate events, corporate identity and branding, and marketing communications.
Prior to joining Standard Register, Spiegelberg served as vice president of corporate communications at Brady Corporation, an international manufacturer of signs, labels, printers, software and specialty die-cut materials based in Milwaukee, Wis. Laurie also held the position of global communications and public relations manager at GE Medical Systems, Waukesha, Wis.

Spiegelberg holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Northwestern University's Kellogg Graduate School of Management, Evanston, Ill., and a bachelor's degree in journalism from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. She is a member of the National Investor Relations Institute and the International Association of Business Communicators.
