Press release from the issuing company

EDINA, MINNESOTA -- October 2, 200 1 -- Directing marketing leadership for a prepress service company in transition is the major theme of IPA's 6th annual Marketing & Sales Conference, scheduled for February 14-17, 2002 at the Omni Royal Orleans Hotel in New Orleans, Louisiana. The program will help marketing and sales managers harness the opportunities that change provides, helping them build their businesses by tapping new markets and offering additional services to existing and new clientele. Participants will learn how to utilize consultative selling to educate the customer as well as to explore new business opportunities with the client. Breakout sessions will provide opportunities for participants to create action plans for implementation of upstream (content creation), downstream (output), and management services. Attendees will also learn from the experiences of companies who are offering new services and products and are successfully reinventing themselves. "This is part of our ongoing effort to help members adapt, grow and prosper in a dynamic environment," says Steve Bonoff, president of IPA. "As the industry evolves, prepress companies must change the way they market and sell their services. This will be a powerful program, designed to motivate participants to return to their companies with an innovative marketing and sales strategy." The IPA Marketing & Sales Conference is open to both IPA members and non-members. For more information, call 1-800-255-8141 or visit the IPA Web site at www.ipa.org.
