Another Publication Uses SkinnyScript Technology, Validates Solution
Press release from the issuing company
Consolidated Magna Ventures Ltd. ("Magna'', symbol CMV:CDNX), and Copydot Prepress Inc. ("Copydot'') are pleased to announce that another publication has successfully gone to press with SkinnyScript(TM) technology. "AIRLINES'', the official in-flight magazine for Westjet Airlines Ltd., is published by Zulu Publications Inc., a new client who eagerly adopted the technology and workflow for its first publication with Copydot. The printers for this issue are Print Crafters for the cover, and Quebecor World - Edmonton for the inside pages.
Rick Gagner, President of Copydot stated, "this is further support for the technology and workflow, and indicates that publishers can rely on this workflow to improve their productivity and costs. As a first time client, Zulu was quick to understand the importance of this process and is reaping the rewards immediately.''
Following so closely behind the production of the October issue of San Jose Magazine, the first commercial test of SkinnyScript(TM), the printing of "AIRLINES'' is evidence that SkinnyScript(TM) is ready for full implementation in the commercial prepress market. The Companies are already working on the next issue of San Jose Magazine and contracts are being pursued with other publishers.
