ScenicSoft and Group Logic Announce Promotion

Press release from the issuing company

Arlington, VA, September 19, 2001 - ScenicSoft and Group Logic announced today a special discount offer to encourage the companies' new and existing customers to take advantage of the synergy between two of their software products: ScenicSoft Color Central and Group Logic ExtremeZ-IP. With every purchase of ScenicSoft Color Central version 4.0, customers are entitled to purchase ExtremeZ-IP at a 10 percent discount. Both Color Central and ExtremeZ-IP dramatically improve network performance to increase the efficiency and productivity of publishing, printing, prepress, and other print media businesses. Used together, the products provide a comprehensive solution to speeding and streamlining digital workflows, eliminating long wait times for workstation users, and overcoming the performance limitations of mixed Macintosh and Windows environments. Color Central is the market-leading OPI and print management solution. The latest version supports JPEG image file formats and CopyDot files for both composite and pre-separated workflows. In addition, ScenicSoft has made it easy for third parties to add support for other file formats by introducing a new plug-in architecture. The new Color Central Sampler can create both TIFF and EPS low-resolution files for placement in your favorite desktop publishing application. The discount pricing, which is available to both new Color Central users and those upgrading from earlier versions of Color Central, requires purchase of ExtremeZ-IP before December 31, 2001. Customers who purchased Color Central 4.0 prior to today's discount offer announcement are also eligible. Customers can receive their ExtremeZ-IP discount by providing Group Logic a copy of their Color Central 4.0 invoice or packing slip.
