Info About New Technology? Printers Medium of Choice for Most Print Buyers

Lexington, Kentucky, USA - September 18, 2001 - WhatTheyThink.com, the leading on-line community and research firm in the graphic arts industry, has released findings related to print buyer and where they gather information. The study was conducted earlier this month with 172 participates. The question asked: Of the following, which do you use most to learn about print technologies? Internet/Web Sites Printing Companies Trade Publications Overall, most print buyers (65%) receive information about new technologies from printers. Industry trade publications are also fairly popular with 21 percent of buyers selecting that medium. Just 14 percent indicated they learned mostly about new print technologies from the Internet.
