In this workshop the CIP4 organization will present the current status of the JDF development. The Job Definition Format (JDF) is a comprehensive XML-based file format/proposed industry standard for end-to-end job ticket specifications combined with a message description standard and message interchange protocol. At PRINT01 in Chicago the first JDF products are announced, and more announcements are expected at Seybold.CIP4 members will talk about their visions regarding JDF and their plans to embrace the new standard. This session is open to
all attendees (no conference badge necessary).
