Oce: New Print Master Professional System for Continuous Copying

Press release from the issuing company

Chicago, IL (September 6, 2001) - Oce, a global leader in digital document management and delivery technology, announced the Oce Print Master Professional System at the PRINT 01 trade show. This system is comprised of the highly productive Oce DPS400 high-speed printing system and the Oce 3165SL printer/copier with Oce Scan Logic(tm) technology, all managed by Oce Doc Works Exec(tm) document and print management software. This powerful combination utilizes the Oce 3165SL as the capture device for scanned originals, allowing for uninterrupted printing and copying on the Oce DPS400 printer. The Oce Doc Works Exec server acts as the FTP server for scan-to-file documents, eliminating the need for a second server. The networked Oce 3165SL device will scan documents at an impressive 3,240 scans per hour while also providing back-up copying and printing functionality. The combined system offers high-speed printing at 9,780 PPH and paper stocks up to 11" x 17" in size. This fully integrated system is perfect for creating a digital archive for print on demand applications, enabling instant access to scanned documents and rapid reprints of previously printed jobs whenever they are needed. The combined system effectively manages an organization's documents whether copying, printing or scanning. Advanced accounting capabilities are available for tracking and billing purposes.
