Muller Martini announced that Frank Donnelly, Regional Sales Manager, will retire effective June 30, 2026, concluding a distinguished 45-year career in the printing and finishing industry and nearly two decades with Muller Martini.
Donnelly’s career began on the production floor as a general laborer feeding pockets in a bindery. Through dedication, technical expertise, and leadership, he advanced to operator, supervisor, bindery manager, and ultimately pressroom manager. His progression through virtually every level of manufacturing provided him with a deep understanding of production processes, equipment, and customer needs.
After spending 25 years in manufacturing operations, Donnelly transitioned into sales, joining Muller Martini as Regional Sales Manager in 2007. As a former customer and advocate of Muller Martini solutions, he brought a unique perspective to the role, combining firsthand operational experience with extensive knowledge of finishing technology and customer support.
“Frank’s career reflects the very best of our industry,” remarked Andy Fetherman, President and CEO, Muller Martini Corp/Muller Martini Canada, Inc. “His expertise, integrity, and commitment to customer success have earned him the trust and respect of colleagues and customers alike. His contributions to Muller Martini and the printing industry have been significant, and we are grateful for the impact he has made throughout his career.”
Over the course of his professional journey, Donnelly witnessed—and helped drive—the evolution of print production from labor-intensive, mechanically driven processes to highly automated workflows, culminating in today’s Smart Factory. Throughout these industry transformations, he built enduring relationships, earning a reputation for collaboration, technical knowledge, and unwavering dedication.
As part of a planned transition, Jonathan Conant will assume responsibility for Donnelly’s territory as Regional Sales Manager effective July 1, 2026. Conant has worked closely alongside Donnelly in recent months and brings more than 20 years of manufacturing and quality management experience to the position, most recently with Lakeside Book Company.
“Jonathan’s extensive manufacturing background and customer-focused approach make him exceptionally well suited to continue serving our customers,” said Mr. Fetherman. “We are confident that he will build upon the strong relationships and foundation that Frank established.”
