After 45 years in printing and finishing, Frank Donnelly is retiring from his role as Regional Sales Manager at Muller Martini, effective June 30, 2026.
Frank’s distinguished career began as a general laborer on the bindery floor feeding pockets. He soon advanced to operator, supervisor, bindery manager, and ultimately, pressroom manager. This ground-up, progressive experience afforded him an exceptional understanding of both equipment and production processes. After spending 25 years in manufacturing operations, Frank transitioned to a sales role at Muller Martini.
We’ve been fortunate to have had Frank on our team for nearly 20 years. As a former customer, he championed several Muller Martini equipment purchases, giving him a unique perspective on both our finishing technology and customer support. Combined with his inclusive work style and personal approach, that experience made his transition from customer to supplier seamless, and, more importantly, highly valuable to the clients he served.
Throughout his work life, Frank has witnessed and helped drive the transformation of print production from labor-intensive, mechanically driven equipment to highly automated workflows, and now to the era of digital production and the Smart Factory. Along the way, he has built lasting relationships with clients and colleagues alike, earning their trust through collaboration, expertise, and genuine commitment. It is no surprise, then, when asked what he will miss most about retirement, Frank said, unequivocally, the people and the deep personal relationships he has developed throughout his career.
As Frank begins his well-earned retirement, you can be assured that you will continue to receive the exceptional support and service you have come to expect from Muller Martini. Effective July 1, 2026, Jonathan Conant will assume responsibility for Frank’s territory as Regional Sales Manager. Jonathan has worked closely with Frank over the past four months and brings over 20 years of manufacturing and quality expertise to the role, most recently with Lakeside Book Company.
