Marketing, Print, Signage and Graphics Services Franchisor Expands Support Resources to Help Franchise Members Navigate AI Adoption

PLYMOUTH, Mich. – Alliance Franchise Brands, franchisor of leading marketing, print and visual communications companies with a network of nearly 500 locally owned businesses across North America, has expanded its franchise support to include a systemwide focus on artificial intelligence (AI) literacy. Through a growing suite of training programs and resources, the organization is equipping its Franchise Members with practical tools to better understand and apply AI in their day-to-day operations.

The initiative is designed to help Franchise Members adopt AI in a way that is practical and easy to understand, with a focus on improving efficiency in their daily work.

Through a mix of monthly training sessions, collaborative discussions and their centralized Hub of resources, Franchise Members in the Alliance Franchise Brands network have access to simple tools and real-world examples they can begin using right away. By encouraging early adoption and hands-on learning, the effort is helping owners save time, streamline tasks and build more efficiency into operations as technology continues to evolve.

“AI has become an important business tool for companies of all sizes,” said Shelby Grassick, Senior AI Manager at Alliance Franchise Brands. “Our goal is to help Franchise Members understand how to use AI tools in practical ways that create real value. Whether it's improving efficiency, streamlining repetitive tasks or helping owners make more informed decisions, AI has the potential to free up time so Franchise Members can focus on serving customers and growing their businesses. We created this program because we believe education and responsible adoption are key to helping local business owners confidently navigate this evolving technology.”

Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, Alliance Franchise Brands has designed its AI program to be flexible, recognizing that each Center operates with different systems, teams and market needs. Franchise Members help shape the topics and direction of the training, creating a more peer-driven learning environment. With a mix of videos, articles, live sessions and small group working meetings, there are multiple ways for owners and their teams to engage and learn in a way that works best for them.

The AI program reinforces Alliance Franchise Brands’ commitment to providing Franchise Members with meaningful, ongoing support. In addition to everyday operations, owners have access to tools and guidance that can help them work more efficiently and approach decisions with greater clarity. As franchise brands continue exploring the opportunities and challenges presented by artificial intelligence, Alliance Franchise Brands is helping lead the conversation.

As a reflection of the importance of this initiative and Alliance Franchise Brands’ innovation in the space, Shelby Grassick, Senior AI Manager at Alliance Franchise Brands, has been invited to speak at the Canadian Franchise Association’s upcoming panel discussion, “AI in Franchise Marketing: What’s Working, What Isn’t, and How to Protect Your Brand,” on June 4 in Toronto. The discussion will focus on practical AI applications, governance considerations and strategies for responsible adoption across the franchise network.
