BMI’s flagship industry event returns September 17th, bringing together publishers, manufacturers, and suppliers to shape the future of book production
[BRADENTON, FL] The Book Manufacturers’ Institute (BMI) is pleased to announce the return of Book Manufacturing Mastered, its flagship industry event, now in its sixth year. The 2026 event will be held on Tuesday, September 17th at the Thomson Reuters office at 3 Times Square in New York City. The event will bring together leaders from across the publishing and printing industries for a dynamic and agenda-packed day of insights, collaboration, and connection.
Book Manufacturing Mastered 2026 will offer attendees a rich program of presentations, panel discussions, and roundtable conversations centered on the most pressing issues and opportunities shaping the future of book manufacturing. The day kicks off at 9:00 AM with a Book Industry Overview presented by Marco Boer of I.T. Strategies, followed by a Printer Panel from 9:30 to 10:15 AM. After a mid-morning break, a Publisher Panel runs from 10:45 to 11:30 AM, leading into a session on The Retail Market before the lunch break. The afternoon opens with a presentation from Ruth Dickey of the National Book Foundation, followed by another break and then facilitated Roundtable Discussions from 3:00 to 4:00 PM. The day concludes with a two-hour Reception and Tabletop Exhibition from 4:00 to 6:00 PM, giving publishers, printers, and suppliers ample time to connect and explore new business opportunities.
