Newton, NJ – Flexo Label Advantage Group LLC (FLAG) is excited to announce its May Lunch & Learn, taking place Tuesday, May 19 at 2:00 PM EDT. The live virtual session will feature JC McKay, President of FLAG, presenting the full AI keynote originally shared with Members at the 2026 FLAG Annual Meeting in San Diego.

The Annual Meeting session focused on how AI is already changing the way businesses operate, what it can do for independent label manufacturers, and how companies can begin using AI tools today. Because the session was not recorded, FLAG is bringing the presentation back for Members who want to revisit the topic with their teams or were unable to attend the Annual Meeting.

“We spent a lot of time on AI in San Diego because the businesses that implement it are going be light years ahead of the ones that wait. That gap is growing by the day, and independent converters have a strong opportunity to get ahead of it right now.” said JC McKay, President of FLAG.

Built specifically for label manufacturers, the Lunch & Learn will cover how AI works, where businesses stand today, and how Members can begin identifying real applications across label production, sales, operations, customer service, and supply chain. McKay will also share guidance on how to build a complete AI Business Backbone trained on their own business.

The session is designed to help FLAG Members move beyond the buzz around AI and begin thinking about what it can actually do inside their companies.

McKay added. “AI is a buzzword in the market with a lot of “concepts” versus actual application. There are thousands of tools and overwhelm is almost inevitable. The goal is to simplify the approach and show our Members practical ways to implement it that deliver a return, in both time and money. Other converters are going to figure this out eventually and I want FLAG Members to be first.”
