Interactive ‘Better Together’ tour showcases strategic partnerships and advanced technologies
Esko will highlight the power of collaboration and innovation at FTA FORUM INFOFLEX, demonstrating how strategic partnerships and advanced technologies are shaping the future of flexographic printing under the theme of ‘Better Together’.
From April 26-29, Esko will be at booth #722 of the Baird Center in Milwaukee, showcasing its latest solutions that use AI-driven intelligence to automate, connect, and accelerate the entire packaging go-to-market process.
“Visitors will have the opportunity to discover our flagship CDI Quartz platemaking ecosystem, with its dual optics system that supports both legacy and forward-looking flexo platemaking with optimized Quartz Screening, enabling converters to achieve incredible new standards in flexographic print quality,” said Rory Marsoun, Director of Global Flexo Print Excellence at Esko. “We’ll also spotlight Flexo Front End, the latest Esko latest innovation that both simplifies the flexo platemaking process while representing better value for customers. Flexo Front End brings together our advanced software solutions, connecting design and plate production with precise imaging control, advanced screening, and intelligent workflow management to maximize efficiency and quality.
“We’ll also show how the AI-powered Esko S2 platform is securely bringing together the entire value chain, enabling stakeholders to collaborate around a single source of artwork data, ensuring speed and accuracy at every stage from initial concepts and package design, through compliance, production and ultimately shipping to retail,” said Rory. “As well as showcasing our own innovations at the event, we are joining forces with X-Rite Pantone, DuPont, APR, and Mark Andy to present a unified approach to flexo production.
“Uniting under the ‘Better Together’ banner, our guided tour experience will span everything from platemaking and color management through to ink innovation and press performance,” he said. “Attendees are invited to visit each partner booth to experience live demonstrations, connect with industry experts, and see first-hand how integrated solutions are driving efficiency, quality, and consistency across the print workflow.
“Our presence at INFOFLEX underscores the Esko commitment to advancing flexographic printing through collaboration,” said Rory. “By bringing together complementary technologies and expertise, the ‘Better Together’ initiative demonstrates how the industry can unlock new levels of performance and innovation.
Attendees collecting stamps from all five partner booths will be entered into a prize draw, with a chance to win one of two pairs of Apple AirPods 4.
Esko experts will also take the stage to share insights into the evolving flexographic landscape at the event, designed to address the industry’s most pressing challenges. Rory Marsoun will present a keynote session exploring the next decade of flexographic printing, covering topics such as AI-driven workflows, emerging substrates, and how converters can adapt to remain competitive.
Nate Plavnik, Senior FIQ Specialist at Esko, will lead a session on the expanding role of automation beyond the pressroom. His presentation will examine how AI, cloud-based tools, and intelligent prepress systems are transforming file preparation, color management, proofing, and plate production. Attendees will gain practical strategies to streamline operations, improve collaboration with brand owners, and leverage data to enhance efficiency and strengthen supplier relationships.
“Flexo is evolving rapidly, and no single solution can address every challenge,” said Rory Marsoun. “By working together with our partners, we are helping customers to achieve smarter workflows, faster turnaround times, and more consistent results across the entire print process.
“We are excited to use our combined expertise to deliver an experience that covers every stage in the flexo process,” he said. “We hope attendees will stop by all five partner booths to experience live demos, connect with our teams, and get a close-up look at how these partnerships are shaping the next generation of print."
