The Technical Association of the Graphic Arts (TAGA) will host a special online Student Day session on April 15, 2026, showcasing the creativity, research, and innovation of the next generation of graphic communications leaders.
A highlight of TAGA NextGen 2026, the session will feature presentations from eight TAGA student chapters competing in the Helmut Kipphan Student Chapter Competition. Students will present the work they have developed throughout the year as they compete for individual honors and the prestigious Kipphan Cup.
Participating student chapters are from Ball State University, California Polytechnic State University, Clemson University, Ferris State University, Illinois State University, Rochester Institute of Technology, Toronto Metropolitan University, and the University of Wisconsin–Stout.
Following the chapter presentations, TAGA will announce the results of its graduate and undergraduate student paper competitions, individual competition categories, and the overall chapter winner. The program promises an inspiring look at the ideas, research, and innovation being driven by emerging talent across the industry.
TAGA Student Day offers attendees the opportunity to hear directly from students whose work reflects the future of graphic arts, print, packaging, publishing, and related technologies. From technical excellence to creative problem-solving, the session celebrates the achievements of students.
“The student session is always one of the most inspiring parts of TAGA NextGen, offering a firsthand look at the ideas and accomplishments of the industry’s future leaders,” said Birgit Plautz, TAGA President.
Join TAGA on April 15 for a dynamic online event recognizing outstanding student work and celebrating the next generation of industry leaders.
The program will be presented online at taga.org/attend.
