Dave and Erin Lindgren have officially opened their Big Frog Custom T-Shirts & More location in Mount Pleasant, bringing the “un-frog-gettable” custom apparel experience to the Charleston area.

MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. — Big Frog Custom T-Shirts & More, the community-focused custom apparel franchise with nearly 80 independently owned and operated stores across the United States and Canada, has officially opened its newest location in the Charleston area. The new locally owned and operated location, led by Mount Pleasant residents Dave and Erin Lindgren, opened on March 11 at 1161 Oakland Market Road, Mount Pleasant, S.C. 29466, bringing Big Frog’s “un-frog-gettable” custom apparel experience to local families, small businesses, schools and community organizations.

After more than a decade in Mount Pleasant, the Lindgrens saw Big Frog as an opportunity to build something of their own while staying deeply connected to the community they call home. Erin brings nearly 20 years of experience in marketing, branding and sales coaching, while Dave spent more than two decades in the employee benefits industry — experience he says prepared him to step into business ownership with confidence. Together, the couple is eager to build a family-focused business that allows them to be present for their children while also supporting local organizations.

“We’re excited to work for ourselves, make our own decisions and build something that’s meaningful,” Dave said. “What stood out about Big Frog was the community involvement working with small businesses, schools, churches, nonprofits and youth sports. It felt like something we could really have an impact with.”

Erin, who also works part-time at a local wine bar and helps run events and marketing, says she’s already using her day-to-day connections as a networking engine for the new store — and she’s focused on bringing Big Frog’s fast, professional custom apparel experience to a market she believes is ready for it.

“I did a lot of market research, even ordering from a local competitor, and the turnaround was four to six weeks — and the quality wasn’t where it should be,” Erin said. “Big Frog gives customers professional quality with quick turnaround and a creative, hands-on process. When Dave first brought it to me, I said, ‘Yeah — let’s go.’”

Dave added that he’s also eager to support local public-service organizations and small medical and veterinary practices with uniform and apparel needs.
