CAMBRIDGE, Mass. and MINNEAPOLIS, Minn.--Nov. 12, 2001--Four51 announced today that the company has launched new capabilities designed to allow Four51's users to create, upload, display, and self-administer their own variable print templates online using the Four51 application. The advanced feature set combines Pageflex's template creation and image rendering technology with Four51's eSolution, creating a solution that enables customers to create variable templates with Pageflex's sophisticated technology and upload and render customized documents directly into Four51's online eSolution. "This new toolset allows our distributors to be substantially more self-sufficient, flexible and responsive to customer needs,'' said Rich Landa, Four51's CEO. "Using these new tools, our users now have the ability to create and upload their own variable print templates into Four51 on their customer's behalf. They are no longer required to have Four51 create these variable print templates for them.'' The new toolset leverages existing Pageflex technology, custom configured to meet Four51's customer's needs. Using the Pageflex(TM) Design Suite, certified Four51 administrative users will create and upload their own variable print templates into Four51 from their location.
