Wallace Offers Ariba Ready e-Print Solutions with @w.i.n.

Press release from the issuing company

LISLE, Ill. Sept. 4, 2001--Wallace, the leading provider of print management services, today announced that it has further extended its eCommerce capabilities by adding full integration with AribaInc., a leading provider of business-to-business (B2B) eCommerce solutions. After recently receiving Ariba Ready(TM)designation, Wallace can seamlessly implement its proprietary print management system, @w.i.n.(TM), with Ariba buyers and service providers worldwide. The Ariba Ready program helps to provide a smooth business integration and operability between buyers and suppliers accessing the Ariba Commerce Services Network(TM) (Ariba CSN). The program also validates content and order management integration between all parties. To qualify for Ariba Ready status, a supplier must demonstrate scalable processes for managing digital transactions between the Ariba CSN and their own e-commerce infrastructure. Ariba Ready uses a well-defined process and consistent measurement standards to validate the level of integration. Wallace will utilize Ariba PunchOut(TM), a method of linking the Ariba Buyer e-procurement system to a corresponding page on a vendor's system, to allow customers to order a broad spectrum of print products, including items such as dynamic digital documents. Wallace will implement the Ariba PunchOut feature with several of its @w.i.n. customers who already use the Ariba network. "As an Ariba Ready supplier, Wallace is enabled to provide its customers with access to its print management system through Ariba's leading B2B eCommerce solutions,'' said Cindy Elkins, vice president and general manager, Supplier and Content Solutions for Ariba. "The Ariba CSN enables Wallace to offer its streamlined e-printing solution to thousands of global buyers, across diverse industries, who already use the network.'' "Wallace supports relationships with leading e-procurement companies such as Ariba,'' said Ken O'Brien, Wallace's Vice President of Information Systems. "Wallace has offered integration with Ariba for some time; now we are taking it a step further for customers who need more complex custom printed products. With Ariba and @w.i.n, Wallace can provide its customers with unparallelled control over all aspects of printed materials; simplify processes; and drive cost savings through the entire life cycle of printed material procurement and management.'' Now accessible through Ariba CSN, Wallace's @w.i.n. is the latest, full e-commerce version of the Wallace Information Network(TM). @w.i.n. leverages proven e-commerce capabilities along with Wallace's proprietary enterprise customer service, order management, inventory management and distribution systems. It incorporates order placement, order status, messaging, inventory, reporting, print-on-demand, digital asset management, file transfer, print specifications, user administration and security, and collaborative print project workflow support -- all in one site. @w.i.n. can also be integrated with a variety of Web portals and tools to facilitate business communication.
