MAN Roland: 1000th Mechanical Systems Course in Offenbach Training Center
Press release from the issuing company
The 1000th mechanical systems course was held from August 13-24 at the MAN Roland Training Center in Offenbach. Under the guidance of Markus Meier, two service technicians from the American subsidiary MAN Roland Inc. USA learned how to set up and commission the ROLAND 700 sheet-fed press. Instruction also covered press operations, sheet transport, and how to adjust individual press components.
The very first printing press courses were held in 1965 in the newly opened Graphic Center of MAN Roland Druckmaschinen AG. The mechanical systems course was included in 1967, and electrical systems training was added in 1972. The Training Center was opened in 1997 as a result of increasing demand for training opportunities. Today, the Graphic Center is a service center for product presentation and product training.
