London Litho Print 01 Seminar To Focus on Pressroom Color Management

Press release from the issuing company

Lincolnwood, Illinois, August 2001—Commercial printers and publishers attending PRINT 01 can take advantage of a free seminar which will address the challenges of implementing color management throughout the production process to the final output device—the printing press. Introduction to Color Management in the Pressroom is a 2-hour seminar co-sponsored by Apple and London Litho. The seminar will feature the color management solutions of Apple ColorSync software, GretagMacbeth spectrophotometers and ProfileMaker software, and London Litho Synclinal MAPP™ process control technology. Attendees will be introduced to ICC-based color management and will learn to identify many of the press variables that must be controlled to successfully profile a press. Representing London Litho at the seminar will be Application Specialist Matt Condon, who will show how the exclusive London Litho process control technology, Synclinal MAPP, can help bring the press to a state in which color profiling has practical benefits in the print production workflow. The seminar will be delivered twice—on September 6 and 7 from 10:00am until noon—during PRINT 01 at Chicago’s McCormick Place. The seminar is free but reservations are recommended. Call Apple Registration at 800-895-4853 or register online at www.seminars.apple.com.
