DIEDORF, Germany—Rosas Maschinenbau, a family-owned German manufacturer of highly specialized machines, proudly celebrates its 25th anniversary this year, marking a quarter-century of mechanical engineering excellence and innovation in the label and packaging, printing, and converting industries.

Founded in 2000, Rosas Maschinenbau has grown from a small engineering workshop into an internationally recognized manufacturer of specialized machines for label inspection, high-speed digital printing, RFID solutions, FanFold systems, and more. With expertise spanning mechanical, electrical, and mechatronics engineering, Rosas delivers systems that set industry benchmarks for flexibility, speed, and sustainability.

To commemorate this milestone, the company unveiled a new logo that symbolizes Rosas’ heritage and forward-looking vision. Designed with a minimalist and technical aesthetic, the logo features the company’s iconic gear element, a tribute to Rosas’ early beginnings in parts production and a symbol of seamless collaboration, precision, and teamwork.

“Gears meshing perfectly represent more than mechanics; they represent people working together,” said David Rosas Wolf, Managing Director of Rosas Maschinenbau. “As a family-based company, we move forward with innovation and passion. From developing high-speed inspection systems to creating modular, future-ready machines, our focus is always on efficiency, process reliability, and long-term value for our customers.”

As part of its 25th-anniversary celebrations, Rosas introduced a limited-edition Viper 750 tabletop rewinder series, which was officially launched on its stand at Labelexpo Europe 2025 in Barcelona. Limited to just 25 units worldwide, the Viper 750 combines elegant black-and-gold styling with carbon-fibre accents, embodying exclusivity and top-tier performance.

Featuring a web speed of up to 750 m/min and a variable web tension range of 0.1 to 21 N, the Viper 750 is Rosas’ most powerful tabletop rewinder to date. Each unit is fully customizable, supporting advanced camera inspection systems, label dispensers, printing units, and RFID/NFC integration.

This year also marked another significant milestone for Rosas with the addition of a second production facility in Diedorf, Germany, close to its original site, founded in 1980. The new spacious, state-of-the-art facility is where Rosas manufactures its high-tech rewinders and custom-made machines, while ensuring peak performance through a dedicated testing and showroom area. With central storage for 20 tons of parts, Rosas can now produce just-in-time, significantly reducing delivery times and allowing for quicker responses to customer needs.

Today, as a second-generation family business led by David and Anita Rosas Wolf, alongside their children Maurice and Lara, and supported by a dedicated team of employees, Rosas Maschinenbau continues to combine tradition with innovation. With a forward-looking approach and modular solutions tailored to individual customer requirements, the company guarantees maximum efficiency, process reliability, and long-term investment security.

Celebrating 25 years of engineering excellence, Rosas remains committed to shaping the future of the label and packaging industry while staying true to the values that have defined the company since its founding.
