Gent, Belgium & Heidelberg, Germany - August 23, 2001 - Enfocus Software and Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG ("Heidelberg") today announce that Heidelberg's new RIP and workflow solution MetaDimension optionally includes powerful Enfocus PitStop PDF preflighting and correction technology. A new version of MetaDimension 2.5 utilizing Enfocus PDF technology will be showcased by Heidelberg at the upcoming PRINT '01 trade show, September 6-13 in Chicago. This latest announcement extends the relationship between the two companies to develop solutions customized to Heidelberg's workflow systems. The goal of which is to offer a variety of enhancements to end-users for streamlining the creation of print-production-ready PDF files. In addition, PitStop Professional is used to provide interactive editing capabilities to the PDF file itself, creating a complete and fully functional PDF workflow.
