APPLETON, WI – Nekoosa Coated Products, LLC, an established leader in the carbonless sheets and specialty paper markets, has announced its expansion into the lightweight carbonless paper roll segment. The move builds on more than 60 years of expertise in carbonless technology and reinforces Nekoosa’s position as a reliable domestic source for specialty papers.

Best known for manufacturing NCR PAPER* and Nekoosa Carbonless sheet products, the company traces its roots to 1961 as the specialty paper division of 3M. The business later transitioned to Imation before becoming a privately held, independent company in 2005 under the name Nekoosa Coated Products, LLC.

Now, with the introduction of carbonless rolls, Nekoosa offers printers and converters a U.S.-based alternative backed by decades of coating and converting experience. All carbonless products are manufactured in the company’s Appleton and Nekoosa, Wisconsin facilities using domestically-sourced base stock – a strategic advantage in today’s supply chain environment.

“This expansion is a natural evolution of our business and a direct response to customer demand,” said Guy Leigh, President of Nekoosa. “As customers seek consistent quality, domestic availability, and trusted partnerships, Nekoosa is uniquely positioned to deliver on all three areas.”

In addition to performance and reliability, Nekoosa’s carbonless products carry SFI® certification, reflecting the company’s ongoing commitment to sustainable forestry and responsible sourcing practices.
