WOODSTOCK, GA — Lithec, a global leader in inline color control and inspection systems for the graphic communications industry, is set to debut its new AI-powered LithoScan Console at the PRINTING United Expo in Orlando, FL, October 22–24. At Booth 3127, visitors will see technology demonstrations of LithoScan’s advanced defect detection capabilities alongside the company’s industry-leading LithoFlash Inline system.
The LithoScan Console offers a full suite of powerful tools for sheet inspection and quality assurance. Operators can perform densitometric and spectral measurement, inspect press sheets in detail, and make sheet-to-sheet or PDF-to-sheet comparisons with ease. Setting it apart from conventional detection scanners that only display errors on a monitor, LithoScan projects errors directly onto the printed sheet with a laser, providing immediate visual confirmation. Additional innovations include a spectral scanner that measures delta E on spot colors and touchless scanning technology, enabling accurate inspection of wet press sheets.
Beyond the unveiling of LithoScan, Lithec will also spotlight its flagship LithoFlash Inline system, a proven solution that streamlines sheetfed offset printing with real-time, automatic color measurement and adjustment—eliminating manual color checks. LithoFlash is compatible with all new sheetfed offset presses and can be retrofitted onto leading brands including Heidelberg, RMGT, Komori, KBA, Manroland, and Mitsubishi. For additional versatility, Lithec offers offline inspection systems that work with every press model and can monitor up to four presses simultaneously. These solutions empower commercial printers, packaging specialists, and converters alike to achieve faster make-ready, lower costs from reduced substrate waste, and consistent color accuracy across jobs.
Printers attending the Expo can also connect with Lithec at a special pre-expo Open House in partnership with RMGT on October 21 at Digital Printing Solutions, an RMGT-based shop in Winter Park, FL. The exclusive event will feature a live demonstration of LithoFlash Inline running on an RMGT 970 perfecting press, followed by a technical roundtable discussion.
“With over 400 LithoFlash installations worldwide, adoption continues to grow rapidly among leading packaging printers,” said Clyde Tillman, President of Lithec USA. “We’re proud to see our customers consistently raising quality standards and optimizing production with our technology. We can’t wait to connect with printers in Orlando and showcase how Lithec USA is transforming pressrooms.”
