Sterling, VA – The Board of Directors of the National Print and Sign Owners Association (NPSOA) is pleased to announce the 2025 recipients of its national Scholarship Program.
Now in its second year, the program supports the relatives of NPSOA owner companies or their employees’ relatives who are pursuing careers in printing management, business management that would apply to the operations of a printing or sign company, printing technology, or graphic design within the print and sign industry in North America.
This year’s recipients included two returning students and two new recipients.
A total of $10,000 was awarded to the following students.
Emma Corridan
Emma Corridan is the daughter of an employee of Jeffrey Roberts, owner of Roberts and Ludlow Printing in Springfield, Massachusetts. She is pursuing a degree in Graphic and Interactive Design from Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. She hopes to eventually become a designer for a company focusing on advertising, social media, and signage. This is Emma’s first year as an NPSOA Scholarship recipient.
Jacod Duran
Jacob Duran is the son of Ignacio Duran, the owner of Minuteman Press San Antonio. He is pursuing a degree in business at the University of Texas at San Antonio. Jacob intends to utilize the skills learned from his degree to expand his role at his family business. This is his first year as an NPSOA Scholarship recipient.
Brianne Garner
Brianne Garner is the daughter of Ken and Julia Bishop, who own The Biz Zone in Fruitland, Idaho. She is finishing her bachelor's degree in business administration (online) from the University of Idaho. She plans to implement her skills learned when she takes over the family business in a few years. This is Brianne’s second and final year receiving an NPSOA Scholarship. Ryan Wallace
Ryan Wallace is the son of Michael Wallace, owner of Print It! In Seneca, South Carolina. He is pursuing a degree in Computer Science from the College of Charleston. Ryan plans to use computer skills within his family company to streamline business operations and increase productivity. He hopes to use programming expertise to develop advanced graphic design tools that can automate and optimize the creation of print and sign materials. This is Ryan’s second year receiving an NPSOA Scholarship.
