Lexmark Announces Mac OS X Compatible Drivers for Printers and MFPs

NEW YORK-July 19, 2001--MACWORLD EXPO: Strengthening its commitment to the Macintosh community, Lexmark International, Inc. today introduced and demonstrated new Mac OS X printer drivers for its entire line of Macintosh-compatible monochrome and color laser and multifunction printers (MFPs). At this week's MacWorld Expo (Booth No. 1854), Lexmark will demonstrate its new driver compatibility using several of its recently announced color, monochrome and multifunction printers, including the Lexmark C720 color laser printer, the Lexmark T522 and T622 monochrome laser printers and its X522 Series MFP. Lexmark's solutions will also be highlighted in the Macintosh Business Solutions Center (Booth No. 1643). "Lexmark has been a long-time supporter of the Macintosh computing environment and we continue to ensure that our solutions are optimized for use with Mac computers,'' said Paul Rooke, Lexmark vice president and president of its Printing Solutions and Services division. "Lexmark's new C, T and X printing solutions are ideally suited for Macintosh-only and mixed computing environments and take advantage of many of the new features inherent in the Mac OS X operating system.''
