Press release from the issuing company
CHICAGO, IL. July 10, 2001 - After a rigorous three-month evaluation, Buyers Laboratory Inc. (BLI) awarded the Oce 8465 printer its "recommended" rating. The Oce 8465, a 62 page-per-minute production cut-sheet printer utilizing LED-array technology, was cited for "excellent overall reliability performance," and "well-above-average" productivity.
According to BLI, several attributes of the Oce 8465 make it well-suited to a production printing environment, including:
Variable data printing of forms
Intelligent job routing by user to designated finisher bin locations
Large total toner capacity
Lower-than-average consumable supply cost
Ability to duplex and finish up to 90-pound index stock
128 megabytes of standard random access memory
The Oce 8465, a powerful distributed printing solution for a variety of high-volume integrated print environments, also received BLI's highest print image quality rating for printing text, line art and halftones.
"We are honored that BLI has awarded the Oce 8465 printer this rating," said Crit Driessen, vice-president for Oce Network Printing Solutions. "Given BLI's stringent evaluation criteria, this ranking is especially gratifying and a testament to the quality and performance of the Oce 8465."
