HP, IKON, Imaging Portals and Xerox Execs to Address CAP Ventures Conference

(Norwell, MA) July 10, 200 - CAP Ventures announced today that the Office Document Technology Conference, October 1-3, 2001, will feature dynamic keynote presentations from industry visionaries who will address what it takes to survive and succeed in today’s marketplace.
The conference will open with a compelling address by James J. Forese, Chairman and CEO of IKON Office Solutions: He will explore the new opportunities available for technology providers and end users in today’s digital office environment.
Tom Dolan, President of the Global Solutions Group at Xerox Corporation, will kick off the second day of the conference by addressing marketplace changes and where customers can increase productivity and decrease costs. Dolan will also present case studies demonstrating Xerox’s strategy for servicing the office moving forward.
On Wednesday, October 3, Mike Stramaglio, President and CEO of Imaging Portals, Inc., will begin the day by taking a look at the changing nature of the document production business and the tools required to deliver the next generation of imaging solutions. Stramaglio will explain how delivering end-to-end document workflow solutions can now be a comprehensive solution that includes hardware, software, and customized applications.
In addition, Lee Caldwell, Vice President and Chief Technology Officer of Imaging and Printing Systems at Hewlett-Packard, will wrap up the conference with a presentation on business transformation and the Internet-centered document. Caldwell will speak about the major changes required in the way documents are prepared; where, when, and how they are delivered; and the extent of personalization and customization.
