Syncro Soft is proud to announce the immediate availability of version
27.1 of its industry-leading XML suite of products: Oxygen XML Editor,
Author, Developer, JSON Editor, Web Author, Publishing Engine, WebHelp,
PDF Chemistry, and Scripting.
This release introduces further enhancements to its AI-driven technology
through the Oxygen AI Positron Assistant and AI integration in XProc,
offers a refined JSON editing experience, incorporates DITA-OT 4.3 for
robust publishing workflows, and delivers performance and security
enhancements across all products.
Notable improvements include:
* AI Positron Assistant v4.1: Enhanced with actions to fix validation
issues and generate MathML, plus the option to preview changes for all
affected files before accepting them and notifications when an AI action
does not result in any changes. New callback functions facilitate
dynamic workflows, while attach-from-computer features allow users to
provide local file content to AI prompts.
* XSLT/XProc/JSON Updates: Support for custom parsers in XSLT, the
ability to run AI-enabled XSLT stylesheets within the XProc Calabash
engine alongside XProc version 3.1 schema support, and automatic
insertion of required content in JSON documents (Author mode) speed up
development cycles.
* Git Integration: The Git Client add-on now supports cherry-picking,
merging, signed commits, and improved branch management, making
collaborative version control more efficient.
* DITA-OT 4.3 Integration: The latest toolkit includes contributions
from two Oxygen XML developers, updates the DITA 2.0 and Lightweight
DITA support, and allows embedding DITA elements in Markdown.
* Differences view: Oxygen XML Web Author users can quickly identify
and understand changes in review comments with improved clarity and ease.
* Performance and Security: Parallel file formatting accelerates batch
indentation, while new security measures and updated libraries offer
increased reliability.
