Despite the print industry’s overall decline, Reno Type has completed its third acquisition in four years.

RENO, Nev. – Reno Type, a leading full-service provider for printing and collateral products, is proud to announce it has acquired A Carlisle & Co. of Nevada. This acquisition allows Reno Type to expand its customer base and offer additional expertise to meet the needs of the Reno-Sparks business community.

“I deeply respect Carlisle's contributions to the industry and to our community, and it is a privilege to carry on their legacy,” said Kurt Hoge, president and owner of Reno Type. “Our Reno Type motto is, ‘if you can imagine it, we can make it.’ With this significant milestone, we are excited to serve our growing customer base without sacrificing the quality service and products we’re known for.”

The acquisition creates new opportunities for innovation and growth. Reno Type’s approach to printing and promotional item production helps its customers focus on the impact of each piece and how it supports their goals.

According to one report, the number of printing and allied industries establishments shrunk by nearly 12% from 2018 to 2022. Despite the print industry’s overall decline, Reno Type has achieved significant growth. Since acquiring the company in 2003, Hoge has led three acquisitions to successfully grow the business, including the most recent purchase of Carlisle’s.

This acquisition makes Reno Type one of the largest printing services providers in northern Nevada. It is locally-owned and operated.
