Integria Inc. Successfully Completes Management Buyout

MONTREAL, July 6 Integria Inc. has completed the management buyout in which the Quebec-based company has purchased all shares and facilities of Bowne de Montreal, Inc. from Bowne & Co., Inc. of New York. The new company Integria Inc., with sales of $30 million and 170 employees at its Saint Laurent plant, will focus on expanding its fully integrated commercial printing and multimedia operations. The financial printing services segment of the Montreal operations will continue to be owned and managed by Bowne of Canada, Ltd. and will be supplied with print manufacturing services by Integria on an exclusive basis.
Jamie Barbieri, Integria's President, CEO and majority shareholder, said "this transaction allows us to focus on opportunities in the commercial printing and multimedia markets while continuing to provide printing services to Bowne of Canada, the continuation of a valued relationship. Mr. Chipman added that "Bowne's Montreal-based financial sales, typesetting and customer service personnel will soon relocate to new downtown offices within walking distance of the Montreal legal and financial community."
