NEW JERSEY -- June 26, 2001 -- Canopy, LLC, a joint venture of PrimeSource Corporation and Xeikon, announced today that Phil Kane has been appointed Vice-President of Sales, effective June 1, 2001. In this capacity, he will have sales responsibility for the complete package of Canopy offerings, which include software, hardware, supplies and equipment, as well as training and support services and will oversee the company's nationwide team of Market Development Managers.

Mr. Kane's experience in the printing and publishing industry includes his most recent position as Vice-President of Sales for Screen, USA, from 1995 to 2001. From 1991 to 1994, he was Sales Manager for Phillips & Jacobs, which became part of PrimeSource Corporation in 1994. Twelve years prior to that, he was Vice-President of Sales for Howson Algraphy, until its purchase by DuPont in 1989, at which time he was appointed Business Manager for the Northeast.

In his new position, Kane will report directly to Canopy1s Chairman Jim Mullan, who states that his strong background and dedication to the printing industry will be a major asset to the Company.
