Panui Automates Process for Handling Digital Advertisements
Press release from the issuing company
RIJSWIJK, The Netherlands June 21, 2001 -- EP&PP, specialists in Electronic Publishing, has developed a workflow solution for handling digital advertisements. This workflow solution named Panui, a Maori word for advertisement is built around Markzware's MarkzScout. This MarkzScout workflow examines digital advertisements received from different sources and determines independently the necessary steps for further processing.
Panui - prounced: 'Panoei' - activates stand-alone applications if necessary, like Adobe Acrobat™, FlightCheck, QuarkXPress, Suitcase and many others; to convert the job to standardized EPS or PDF files. EPS and PDF files created in this manner ensure a problem-free process of page-layout, digital imposition and imaging.
"MarkzScout's flexibility makes it an ideal base for workflow solutions like Panui," says Casper Voortman, product specialist from EP&PP.
Currently, several large Dutch publishers are using Panui and EP&PP expect many more to follow. SImply put, this series of automatically running MarkzScout layout's help solve an age-long problem with received digital advertisements. Providing far fewer unknowns and standardizing the workflow in an automated and hands-free fashion.
Panui is available for Macintosh operating systems. The standard version has an MSRP of 1.360,00 EURO.
EP&PP are a long time Markzware reseller and integrator for FlightCheck, MarkzScout, and MarkzNet solutions. They also make several other solutions based on Markzware's technologies and are available for custom projects.
