GSE Presents Sustainable Ink Dispensing Solutions at Taiwan’s TIGAX24 Show

Press release from the issuing company

Brummen, The Netherlands: At the TIGAX24 graphic arts trade fair in Taipei City, GSE will present ink dispensing systems and software that help Taiwan’s packaging and label converters use ink efficiently and comply with the country’s strict carbon emissions-reduction legislation. GSE’s products will be showcased at the booth of its Taiwan-based agency, Foremost eMage (Hall 1, booth B-1020, Taipei World Trade Center, Taipei City, 3 - 6 October 2024).

GSE’s Colorsat ink dispensing systems automatically create special brand colours, accurately, in precise quantities needed for the print job, on-demand. The dispensers feature software to store and instantly recall recipes, and are capable of remixing leftovers into new jobs. This makes repeatable colour accuracy achievable without errors, eliminating waste such as scrapped material or excess ink production. Ink dispensing along with ink management software can cut ink consumption by up to 30 per cent and reduce make-ready time, potentially boosting productivity.

Dispensers within GSE’s Colorsat range are tailored to the application and ink consumption requirements - with systems for paperboard, flexible packaging, and label printing. They have a modular design featuring easily replaceable parts, so they may be adapted with ease when requirements change. Dispensers for solvent inks include explosion-proof grounding. At the Foremost eMage booth, GSE will exhibit its Formula Checkweigh System (FCS), a tabletop dispenser suited for label printing and/or a limited amount of production runs.

Ink management software for efficient emissions reporting

Additionally, GSE dispensers come with dedicated reporting software, Ink manager, automating ink-related tasks, with minimal data entry. As a standard feature, all GSE dispensers include the capability to report on volatile organic compounds (VOC) consumption - as required by Taiwan’s emissions-reduction legislation - with minimal administration.

With Foremost eMage as GSE’s exclusive local partner, Taiwan-based printers can rely on prompt installation support, technical advice, and after-sales service.

Robert Liao, sales director, Foremost eMage, comments: “Printers in Taiwan are facing growing pressure to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. One of the most effective ways to meet these goals is by eliminating mistakes in the ink handling process. GSE Colorsat dispensers not only deliver colour accuracy on the first try, but they also help cut down ink use and material waste. It’s a smart, sustainable solution for printers looking to stay competitive while working towards net-zero emissions. We encourage visitors to TIGAX24 to visit our booth and arrange a consultation to explore how GSE’s solutions can bring their workflows to new levels of productivity.”
