Epson to Speak at Maker Market Virtual Event on Building Successful Sublimation Businesses

LOS ALAMITOS, Calif. – Epson today announced it will be participating in the Sublimation Summit, a virtual event for the maker market dedicated to sublimation. From Sept. 25-27, crafters and entrepreneurs from around the country will learn the how-tos of sublimation through virtual classes hosted by industry experts and can visit digital showrooms with the latest product information and chat with company spokespersons. Epson will host presentations on sublimation best practices and how artisans can grow their sublimation businesses, as well as feature information on its leading desktop dye-sublimation and hybrid direct-to-garment (DTG) and direct-to-film (DTFilm) solutions in a digital showroom.

“Epson has truly thought of everything when it comes to bringing this professional technology to the maker market,” said Cheryl Kuchek, co-founder, Sublimation University. “These desktop printers are turnkey solutions designed for creators of all levels, so any crafter, regardless of experience, can achieve exceptional results with ease and confidence. We are excited to have them share their wealth of knowledge with our community.”

The Sublimation Summit provides an educational experience – from beginner basics to advanced techniques – to help crafters grow their expertise and earning potential. Attendees can network with fellow crafters, explore new products, receive vendor discounts, and participate in workshops, all in a fun, educational environment. During the summit, Epson will showcase and present the following:

Session – Building and Growing Your Business: Epson product manager Lily Hunter will host a presentation discussing how to turn a dye-sublimation hobby into a side business with a desktop dye-sublimation printer. The discussion will look at options to continue growing with dye-sublimation technology or expand into other technologies that complement current offerings, including DTG and DTFilm printing.

Session – Desktop Dye-Sublimation: From Concept to Perfect Print: Hunter will also host a class where participants will learn the best practices for desktop dye-sublimation, covering every step, from concept to finished product. Ideal for beginners or experienced crafters looking to refine skills, this class will equip participants with the knowledge to produce professional-quality sublimation prints.

Showroom – Desktop Dye-Sublimation Technology for Crafters: In its digital showroom, Epson will showcase the SureColor® F170, SureColor F570 Pro desktop dye-sublimation printers, and the SureColor F1070 hybrid DTG and DTFilm printers. Designed to meet the needs of businesses of all sizes, these printers offer reliable performance, exceptional quality, and fast output, enabling growth through creative products and seamless workflows from any desktop software. The SureColor F570 will be shown with Epson Edge® Print Pro workflow software featuring job layout and nesting, pattern repeats, advanced color controls and more for professional results.
