Toronto – Delphax Solutions, Inc., (“DSI”) a digital inkjet press designer and manufacturer, today announced the launch of its ChromaPrime solution set for the production inkjet envelope market at the Printing United Expo being held in Las Vegas, along with a partnership agreement with Tec Lighting, Inc. of Brea, CA, USA.

The ChromaPrime platform significantly improves color gamut and visual impact on untreated medias printed on systems that are powered by Memjet’s pigment based inkjet technologies, such as Delphax’s own Elan 170. ChromaPrime consists of a proprietary pre-treatment from Delphax, and a customized Tec Lighting coating device that has been jointly developed by both companies to address the needs of the production inkjet envelope market. Under this partnership, Tec Lighting has entered a worldwide exclusivity agreement to supply Delphax with coaters for this market segment.

ChromaPrime is available as in-line and near-line configurations, and can be purchased by users of print systems other than Delphax’s own Elan 170 ensuring all users of systems powered by Memjet’s pigment based inkjet platforms can also see the same print quality enhancements.
