Press release from the issuing company
Montreal, Canada, Ultimate Tech, frontrunner in imposition, ganging, nesting and finishing automation, is proud to launch a fully automated and optimized label production solution for Canon’s upcoming LabelStream LS2000 inkjet label press.
This solution is designed to allow users to fully leverage the yet to be released Canon’s LabelStream LS2000 press and help users get the maximum ROI from this product combination. Ultimate Impostrip drives the full set of functionalities of the press and this solution can be seen for the first time at LabelExpo this September in Chicago, Illinois.
Ultimate Impostrip is an open solution designed to centralize and automate imposition, step and repeat, lane imposition, ganging and true shape nesting including dynamically placing marks and barcodes to automate the workflow.
This solution empowers the ability to manage a high number of SKUs dynamically with very short turnaround times. As a fully automated solution, users can submit, for example, a full days’ worth of work and get optimized and batched output ready to print.
“Canon U.S.A. and Ultimate believe in open collaborations, and we are happy to come together for Labelexpo to showcase the power of using the combined solutions,” says Julie Watson, Ultimate Tech CEO. “Ultimate Tech’s core mission is to automate and centralize with flexible and easy to use solutions that are open and can tie into your production needs.”
“We are excited to preview the capabilities of the upcoming LabelStream LS2000 inkjet press that can help meet the ever-changing demands for digital, high-quality label converting,” said Shinichi “Sam” Yoshida, executive vice president and general manager, Canon U.S.A., Inc. “We look forward to Labelexpo Americas and demonstrating how our products can contribute towards efficient and versatile label production.”
This solution can be seen at the Ultimate Tech stand booth 5204 at Labelexpo Americas 2024, from September 10-12, 2024, at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Chicago. For more information: www.ultimate-tech.com.
