Print Tec Network Bags Training Contract From Heidelberg USA
Press release from the issuing company
DUXBURY, MA -- June 18, 2001 -- Print Tec Network today announced a contract with Heidelberg USA's Digital and Direct Imaging Group to assist Heidelberg Digimaster 9110 and Quickmaster DI clients with their digital printing sales and marketing needs through April 2002. This marks the second consecutive year Print Tec Network has been contracted in this role.
Under the terms of the contract, Print Tec will work with Heidelberg prospects prior to the sale, helping them better understand digital printing sales and marketing opportunities. These opportunities center on black-and-white and short run color printing. Training also focuses upon after-sale digital sales and marketing issues.
"Owning the Heidelberg DI is not the same as selling and marketing it," said Bill Jensen, President of D.I. Printing, Santa Rosa, California. "The difference Print Tec's training has made to the successful launch of our new service can be measured in bottom line revenues. Our involvement in Print Tec's training program will have positive reverberations throughout our business for years to come. I recommend Print Tec's services to any DI owner."
"We have had a relationship with Print Tec since 1999 and are delighted to continue our work together," said Eric Frank, vice president, Heidelberg USA Digital and Direct Imaging Marketing. "Bill Farquharson has helped sales people and customers to understand the digital printing opportunity both before and after the installation of the equipment. Print Tec's experience in the field of digital printing makes them uniquely qualified to be a resource to Heidelberg and our customers."
