Printware Introduces Three New Inkjet Technologies at Printing United

Press release from the issuing company

ST. PAUL, MINNESOTA – Printware will showcase its expanding line of iJetColor inkjet envelope presses at Printing United, taking place September 10-12 in Las Vegas, Central Hall C2297. The iJetColor team will present its easy-to-use inkjet envelope solutions, with live demonstrations, featuring three new technologies designed to make envelope production more vibrant and robust.

Printing United is the ideal venue to introduce the U.S. market to the recently launched, affordable iJetColor 1175C console-based inkjet press. The newest member of the iJetColor family incorporates HP PageWide Thermal inkjet technology. Its unique feeding and alignment system is accurate, reliable, and facilitates easy transitions between envelope sizes—all manageable by a single operator. Early reviews of the iJetColor 1175C have been glowing since its commercial release in March of this year.

The iJetColor 1175C builds upon the success of the iJetColor 1175 Pro, the most widely installed console-based inkjet press. Additionally, the iJetColor 1175, an affordable benchtop model, provides short-run, full-color envelope production, rounding out the iJetColor product family. All three iJetColor inkjet envelope presses utilize water-safe, fade-resistant, pigment-based inks for a wide range of print applications and will be demonstrated with several new options for enhanced productivity. The iJetColor family offers three solutions at various price points to easily feed and print full-bleed envelopes.

Furthermore, Printware will demonstrate the newly introduced iJet Envelope, developed in collaboration with Allegheny Envelope. Designed specifically for the iJetColor family, the iJet Envelope provides unmatched color resolution and is available commercially in sizes from A2 to 10”x13” and in quantities ranging from a single case to millions. Printware will showcase these envelopes, offering customers new ways to produce vibrant, clear, and affordable premium envelopes.

Printware will also preview a third technology: the iJetColorQ, a brand-new category of inkjet printing. The iJetColorQ is an industrial, piezo-based inkjet printing system characterized by high-precision, high-nozzle-density, and high-speeds. It features a CMYK piezo-based inkjet printbar, delivering unprecedented performance. The iJetColorQ series represents a significant leap in both quality and economics. The Q series of piezo-based inkjet printheads (available in three widths) are durable and offer low variable costs with a wide range of compatible inks, including aqueous, UV, eco-solvent, oil, and solvent-based. This system will be showcased on a newly designed, high-speed envelope press capable of printing over 18,000 envelopes per hour.

The iJetColorQ print bar sets new industry standards for quality, performance, and cost.
