CHICAGO---June 18, 2001-- Emphasizing practical services and incremental transitions for wide format digital document management, Imation Corp. will showcase its solutions, services, hardware and consulting expertise in booth No. 1228 at A/E/C Systems 2001, June 19-21, located at McCormick Place, Chicago, IL. The company will highlight its alliances with KIP America and Mindwrap, Inc. to demonstrate document management solutions that help customers in the architecture, engineering and construction industries bridge from current paper document storage systems to a completely integrated digital document management system.
A global market leader with more than 40 years of experience in the sale and service of analog engineering document imaging equipment, Imation combines its expertise in document imaging workflows and in world-class service with key software and hardware alliances to supply document management systems that meet a variety of customer needs for the engineering design and construction industries. A key alliance with Optix Document Management Software will be demonstrated at Imation's booth.
The alliance with Mindwrap, Inc. allows Imation to sell, install and service Mindwrap's Optix Document Management Software. The Optix software is an integrated workflow and document management application that allows customers to capture, store, organize, share, and easily use computer files of any type, scanned paper documents and images, and audio and video content.
