Fujifilm Selects Breakaway Solutions to Host myfujifilm.com

CONSHOHOCKEN, Pa., June 18 - Breakaway Solutions, Inc. a Full Service Provider (FSP) of integrated strategy, implementation and application hosting solutions for collaborative ebusinesses, today announced that Fuji Photo Film U.S.A., Inc. has engaged Breakaway Solutions to provide managed hosting services for Fujifilm's myfujifilm.com e-Production Web site, created to address the specific business-to-business needs of the graphic arts industry.
myfujifilm.com allows subscribers and their clients to fully utilize the Internet to enhance business relationships and manage workflow. In addition to providing printers, trade shops, advertising agencies, publishers, designers and print producers with new e-Production methods, myfujifilm.com eliminates the need to over-invest in equipment and plant expansions. In establishing the offering as a hosted model, Fujifilm chose Breakaway Solutions over other vendors for its global reach and quick implementation, vital for allowing myfujifilm.com to capture a larger share of the market in a short amount of time.

In addition to reducing costs, myfujifilm.com's managed and hosted solution will enable Fujifilm's customers to benefit from the following:

myfujifilm.com plans to release the product to the general market in July 2001.
