Quebecor Media to Buy Out Minority Shareholders of Sun Media

Montreal, June 15, 2001 - Quebecor Media Inc. has reached an agreement with the minority shareholders of Sun Media Corporation to purchase their respective equity interests in Sun Media Corporation. As a result, Sun Media Corporation will become a wholly-owned subsidiary of Quebecor Media Inc. upon closing of this transaction.
