Moore Chairman, Prichard To Resign, To Take Executive Role At Torstar

TORONTO & STAMFORD, Conn.--June 15 2001--Robert G. Burton, President and Chief Executive Officer of Moore Corporation Limited, announced today he has been advised by J. Robert S. Prichard, Moore's Non-Executive Chairman, of Mr. Prichard's planned resignation from the Moore Board of Directors. The resignation is planned to occur at Moore's next regularly scheduled Board Meeting on July 19, 2001. It is anticipated that one of Moore's current Board members will be elected Chairman at that time. Mr. Prichard's planned resignation is a result of his acceptance of the position as President of Torstar Media Group and COO of Torstar Corporation.
