Press release from the issuing company

Irvine, CA, June 4, 2001 Roland DGA Corporation today announced the appointment of Patrick Chen to Product Manager of Color Devices. Chen will work with resellers to explore opportunities in new and existing markets and further develop productivity solutions for Roland's Hi-Fi JET and Hi-Fi JET PRO. In addition to serving as a color expert, he will lead interactive workshops at Roland University. As a member of the training staff, Chen plans to teach dealers and graphic arts professionals how to become more successful. He will explain everything from maintaining equipment to printing fine-art giclées. "Patrick brings to Roland a wealth of knowledge about the wide-format printing business," said Rick Scrimger, Senior Product Manager. "With his ample experience using inkjet technology in the photo and pre-press markets, he is a great resource for the entire color industry. We are thrilled to have him." Chen started his own design business in 1993, where he gained plenty of pre-press experience. A veteran of the wide format printer industry, Chen has experience training dealers and has provided tradeshow support in the color-printing industry. He earned his Bachelors Degree from University of California, Irvine.
