(6/11/01) According to Creativepro.com's General Manager Pam Pfiffner, It's been two months since I last had the pleasure to announce new additions to creativepro.com. The response has been so positive to those changes that we decided to up the ante. I'm pleased to announce the new Creative Services area of creativepro.com.
In Creative Services you'll find a host of resources and tools that help you get your creative work done. Want to print a four-color file in a hurry? Need to buy more ink for your desktop printer? Looking for the right stock photo image? You'll find the answers all in one place: Creative Services on creativepro.com.
Thanks to partnerships with some of the leading companies in the creative arena, we currently offer three services, although we have several more in the queue. To start:
* creativeproShop. This new version of the our software and hardware store brings something more to the table: traditional media supplies. You see, we've known for a while that even though creative folks like yourselves push pixels around all day you also doodle designs on paper. So to make it easy to purchase all your creative tools in one place, we partnered with Graphic Arts Supplies.com to offer a superstore for creatives. You'll still find great deals on the software and hardware on which you've come to depend, but you'll also find supplies like knives and foam board, pens and paper cutters, loupes and light boxes.
Plus, for frequently ordered supplies like inkjet cartridges, we make repeat buying fast and efficient. From the front page, click the "My Reorder List" button. Your previous purchases appear. All you have to do is select what you need, adjust the quantities, and check out right from there. Your current creativepro.com membership is your key to the store. Come on in and check it out.
And first-time customers who order more than $100 from creativeproShop will get a free t-shirt from Graphic Arts Supplies. Such a deal!
* Printing Center. When you need a professional-looking print job, nothing beats four-color offset printing. But offset jobs can be expensive, especially if you only need small quantities, and schlepping files to a printer can be inconvenient. You know you can get color photocopies done at the quick print shop, but toner just isn't the same as ink. Creativepro.com has the answer.
Now you can get high-quality offset printing without leaving your desk, thanks to the creativepro.com Printing Center. Developed in conjunction with printingforless.com, the Printing Center is the fast and inexpensive way to print your work using the Internet. You prepare your Mac or PC file in virtually any program (native formats like QuarkXPress, InDesign, CorelDRAW!, you name it, are all accepted), upload it to the Printing Center, and in as little as a few days your prints are returned to you (actual turnaround varies according to the type of job and quantity, of course).
You can select from a variety of projects and sizes, from brochures and booklets to postcards and posters. The minimum order is a mere 250 pieces. Best of all, the folks at printingforless.com will inspect your files for errors and send you an online proof before the job is run, so you can sign off on the final product. And remember that if you need help color correcting your images or preparing your scans, you can find the answers right here on creativepro.com. Get ready, get set, print.
And here's another incentive: Through the end of July you get an additional $20 off every order you place with the creativepro.com Printing Center. Simply input the code "CP731" in the top field of the Billing Information (PFL Account #) and the discount will be automatically calculated on your receipt.
* Stock Photo Search. We announced this service in our last site update, but it's worth mentioning again. Our multiple-vendor stock photo search is going like gangbusters and if you haven't yet tried it out, now's the time. Based on Random Eye Technologies' image grabber service, our Stock Photo Search lets you type in one keyword -- and get back hundreds of images from stock agencies large and small. No need to go from site to site in search of the perfect image. One click does it all. Try it and see.
These are just a few of the tools and resources you'll see in the Creative Services section of creativepro.com. I'll give you updates as we add more services. In the meantime, don't forget to look for limited-time special offers throughout the site for great deals and exclusive bonuses.
